About Brightnest

A Vancouver agency built by people who have sold service contracts door to door.

Brightnest Sales and Marketing exists for one kind of client: the service business. Cleaning, contracting, exterior maintenance, property management, home services. We combine face-to-face marketing with SEO and digital media because that is what fills their calendars.

Our story

We started in the field. We still think like the field.

Most marketing agencies begin with a designer and a laptop. Brightnest began with a clipboard, a route map and a stack of estimate forms. Our founders ran face-to-face sales campaigns for service companies across Metro Vancouver, knocking on doors in North Vancouver and Burnaby, walking office parks in Richmond and presenting to strata councils in the Tri-Cities.

That work taught us something the dashboards never could: what a homeowner actually asks before they book a pressure wash, what a property manager needs to hear before they switch cleaning contractors, and how quickly a lead goes cold when nobody follows up. It also showed us the gap. People we met at the door would search for our clients that evening and find a thin website, an unclaimed Google profile and a competitor with more reviews.

So we built the other half. Today Brightnest runs face-to-face campaigns and SEO and digital media programs under one roof, with one plan and one set of numbers. The field creates demand. Digital captures it and proves the brand. Both report on the same thing: booked jobs.

We are based in Vancouver and work across the Lower Mainland, from West Vancouver to Abbotsford and up the Sea-to-Sky corridor. Our clients are the businesses that keep the region clean, maintained, built and managed, and we are proud to be the team behind their growth.

What we believe

Four principles behind every campaign.

They shape how we plan, who we hire, what we report and how we treat the brands we represent.

01

Booked jobs over vanity metrics

Impressions do not pay crews. We plan, report and optimise around conversations, appointments and cost per booked job, because that is what a service business actually runs on.

02

Represent the brand like the owner would

Our field representatives wear your branding and speak for your company. They are trained, managed and held to the standard you would hold yourself to on your best day.

03

Local, specific, seasonal

We plan around the real streets, buildings and seasons of Metro Vancouver. Generic playbooks imported from other markets do not survive a Coquitlam winter.

04

Own your growth

Your website, ad accounts, data and even the sales skills we teach your team belong to you. We want to earn the next season, not lock you in.

How we got here

From the doorstep to the first page of Google.

A short history of why Brightnest does both halves of growth for service businesses.

  1. The beginning

Selling for service businesses, one door at a time

Brightnest started in the field: running residential and B2B campaigns for cleaning and exterior maintenance companies across the Lower Mainland and learning exactly what makes a homeowner say yes.

  2. Adding digital

    Closing the loop online

Clients kept asking the same question: why are people we met at the door searching for us and finding competitors? We built our SEO and digital media practice to make sure every conversation was backed by a brand people could verify.

  3. Today

    Two channels, one accountable team

We now run integrated field and digital programs for cleaning, contracting, property management, real estate and home service businesses across Metro Vancouver, with a research practice that shares what we learn.

  4. Next

Building growth capability, not just campaigns

More sales training, more brand ambassador programs and more tools that let service businesses own their acquisition engine outright.

The team

Organised around the work, not the org chart.

Four functions, one plan per client. Every program has a field lead, a digital lead and a client success manager who owns the numbers.

Field operations

Territory planning, recruiting and daily campaign management

The team that maps neighbourhoods and accounts, recruits and trains representatives, runs daily huddles and keeps door counts, conversations and booked estimates honest.

Search & digital

Local SEO, paid media and analytics

Specialists in Google Business Profile, technical and content SEO, Google Ads and Local Services Ads, with the tracking discipline to attribute every call and form to its source.

Creative & web

Websites, content and brand assets

Designers, developers and writers who build fast, credible websites, produce before-and-after content and make sure your brand looks as good online as your work does in person.

Client success

Planning, reporting and coaching

Your single point of contact. They own the growth plan, run weekly reporting and coach your team on speed to lead and follow-up so marketing turns into revenue.
